29TH CLASS - GROUP 01 - DIFFERENT CAREER EXPLORATION
Today:
As the last class before the holiday break, we did a whole class career exploration of a mythological career that we may know of, but not really think too much about: Santa Clause.
Over the break:
Keep your eyes on your e-mail and Academos. If you have not written your e-mentor your first letter, you need to ASAP. E-mail me if you have questions or are having issues with the program.

1) We continued the story.
2) We discussed different topics like the old workplace versus the new workplace.
3) You were given time to finish your graphic organizers.
4) You all should have gone on the Commission des Normes du Travail du Quebec website and, in groups, had a person read the "in case of" section. If there was time, you watched the videos of your choice on the home page.
If you missed class: You will need to see me for more graphic organizers.

25TH CLASS - GROUP 01 - STORY & GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS
Today:
1) I read the introduction and first chapter of a really good book to you.
2) Using two really good topics from the book (the importance of living your childhood dreams and the importance of family) to be considered in relation to researching a career, you filled out graphic organizers by yourself, then collected other ideas from your peers.
3) We went to the POP Lab for people to finish typing up their resumes/CVs, finish the handouts from last class.
4) Any time left over was spent visiting the "In Case of" section on the Commission des normes du Travail du Quebec website.
