Tuesday, January 26, 2010:

35th CLASS - GROUP 02 - ENGLISH SWAP

Today:
We used class to watch our movie in English. An English class will be devoted to POP in the future to catch up.

34th CLASSES - GROUPS 01 & 02 - BINDER ORGANIZATTION AND JOB SHADOW PLANNING

Wednesday, January 20, 2010:
1) We had binder remediation so everyone could organize their POP binders in the right order.
2) You each created a plan of steps to prepare for your job shadow day in mid-March.
3) Group 01 - POP students last year did an excellent job presenting those steps.
Group 02 - Nice ideas during your presentations!

33rd CLASS - GROUP 01 - COURSE CONTENT REVIEW

Today:
1) We discussed the competencies and end-of-year evaluation scales.
2) You evaluated where you think you are in each scale.
3) You wrote goals you have to bring your lowest evaluations up.
4) We went to the POP Lab for independent work and e-mentors.

Please see me to pick up your competency scales so you can do your self-evaluation.

33rd CLASS - GROUP 02 - COURSE CONTENT REVIEW

Today:
1) We reviewed and reflected on the purpose of POP.
2) We discussed what POP can do for you after you graduate from QHS.
3) We reviewed how you do NOT need to know your life career after completing POP.
4) We made a class goal to have a second job shadow day mid-March, after the break.
5) We reviewed the POP competencies.
6) We read over and discussed the competency criteria and rubric scales.
7) You self-evaluated yourself and wrote specific reasons to justify your evaluation.

32nd CLASSES - GROUPS 01 & 02 - INDEPENDENT EXPLORATION

Wednesday, January 13, 2010:
1) If you want to participate in an Aerospace Engineering workshop on Jan. 21, you were given the opportunity to voice it.
